about Kristabel
Hi Friends!
My name is Kristabel Ngumlonko Kenta-Bibi (she/her) and I am a proud Cameroonian-American multi-hyphenate artist from Glastonbury, CT! As a current senior BFA Musical Theatre Major at the University of Michigan with a double minor in Political Science and Performing Arts Management & Entrepreneurship, I am no stranger to being busy! Although I am one of the first in the family to pursue a performing arts career, my parents understood how powerful art can be and I am forever grateful! All of my life, I have been nurtured to be the best version of myself ! That is why I continue to be a Jill-of-all-trades—becoming well-versed in many mediums-beyond acting, singing, and dancing- such as choreography, voiceover, producing, mentoring, marketing, video editing, and content creation!
I must say, ever since I watched Singing In the Rain for the first time 14 years ago, I caught the theatre bug and the rest is history! With tap dance being the first discipline I learned at age 7, before I knew it, I began to be an avid singer in the church choir, a community theatre veteran (with a knack for a comedy), a pageantry participant for 12 years, and much more while also excelling in my studies!
When I am not performing, I love to spend quality time with my friends and family over my all time favorite love language…FOOD! I love to chef it up in the kitchen (#kissthecook) while sharing my warmth/comfort with others or trying new restaurants! As an old soul, I love to crochet while listening to some vinyls over a nice cup of tea (or a fresh chilled glass of Dr. Pepper). You can also catch me being a certified goofball on TikTok trying to make your day a little brighter with a killer outfit!
my goal
To be the representation I didn’t have enough of growing up in the entertainment industry! Whether if it’s on stage/tv/film and/or behind the scenes as an entertainment lawyer, casting director, etc. I want to let young artists who look like me know there is a space for them to be fearless storytellers in every sense of the word!
my plan
To continue experiencing and sharing joy with every opportunity I have been blessed with while acknowledging the fact that I am and will always be a student of life!
